From Stephanie Campbell, Nutrition Education & Physical Fitness Coordinator for NorthWest Initiatitive: Have you always wanted to learn how to do Tai Chi? Well then, you're in luck! We are honored to have Belinda, from JustBYoga come out and show us a few moves.
For those of you who don't know: Tai Chi is an internal Chinese martial art practiced for both its defense training and its health benefits.
When: Tuesday, March 8 th from 7:00 – 8:00pm
Where: North Westminster Church
734 N MLK Blvd., in Lansing – corner of Oakland and MLK – third floor gym
(Please park on the south side of the building and come in the left, east entrance.)
What else: It’s FREE!!!! And a great opportunity to learn from a local instructor!
Feel free to bring family and friends with you. Also, make sure to come prepared to move. Comfortable clothes may be more appropriate. Don't forget to bring your water bottle too. Hydration is important!
I hope we get a good group of people out there that night. We have a huge gym to work with! The more people, the merrier.
